- Research Interests
Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6)
As the Internet continues to grow, we see a lot of significant problems in IPv4. The issues include routing table size explosion, address space shortage, (non-)deployment of recent technologies, breakage of end-to-end model due to NAT. IPv6 is a new version of Internet protocol which solves these issues, and provides more robust and scalable Internet. My focus is in implementation, deployment, operation, as well as the standardization of IPv6 and related technologies.
Security on the Internet
As more devices gets connected to the Internet, and people depend upon it in their daily life, it is getting very important to ensure security of the Internet and provide a dependable Internet. My main interest at this moment is in IPsec, IKE, SSH, DNSSEC, and a new security model suitable for IPv6.
Multilingual text processing
As the Internet naturally interconnects all countries and regions in the world, it is important to provide multilingual processing capability to the system.
