The Global IPv6 Summit
in Japan 2001 Network Information
Internet Week 2001 (IW 2001) will provide IPv6/IPv4 connectivity
within the Pacifico Yokohama venue.
IEEE 802.11b wireless access points will be stationed within the
IPv6 Summit Main Hall venue allowing access to external networks
via the IW 2001 network. Please bring a wireless LAN card for your
laptop (rental LAN card service will not be provided).
Power outlets (100V, US/Japan standard) will be provided for a
portion of the Main Hall seats.
Attendees are also welcome to use the IW 2001 Access Room (3F Lounge).

(Routers will advertise prefixes. You do not have to configure
the prefixes by hand.)
- IPv4 Address
A DHCP server will provide IPv4 addresses.
- Default Routers
- IPv6
Routers will advertise their addresses. You do not have to configure
the addresses by hand.
- IPv4
A DHCP server will provide the address of the default router.
- DNS Addresses

If your OS does not support DNS access through IPv6 transport, please
use 61.215.25.2 (IW 2001 Network DNS)
- IPv4
A DHCP server will provide the address of the IPv4 DNS.
If you need to configure the address by hand, please use 61.215.25.2
